For Sale: Steen Minstrel 40. Stunning maple harp with a larger range than a 36-string harp, it has four bonus bass notes -- down to an extra-low F. This allows glorious accents and drones. A visually impressive harp, the kind brides want at weddings. It is 66 inches tall, clean lines. Sound is creamy and sparkly at the same time, a very accurate and "expensive" tone. String spacing is easy to play without buzzing the strings. Tuning is very smooth, accurate. Truitt levers. Light tension strings, very easy on the hands. The big sound comes from the long string vibrating length and the signature Steen soundboard. Comfortable soundbox back. Stays in tune better than any harp I have owned.
